Breaking Ground Before It Was Common
Today, that same commitment shapes every Freedom commercial builders project.
In 1978, at a time when construction was overwhelmingly male-dominated, our founder broke barriers as one of the early women working as a carpenter in Los Angeles. She built her career from the ground up through hard work, skilled craftsmanship, resilience, and determination, establishing a foundation of excellence that continues to shape Freedom Commercial Builders today.
Long before diversity became a business initiative.

Construction Operations & Workforce Leadership
Ms. Munoz brings more than 31 years of experience in commercial construction, telecommunications infrastructure, and executive leadership. Throughout her career, she has earned a reputation for strong field leadership, operational excellence, skilled craftsmanship, and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Her extensive background includes commercial and structural concrete construction, telecommunications infrastructure, project supervision, workforce leadership, subcontractor coordination, and executive management.
As President of Freedom Commercial Builders, Ms. Munoz provides strategic leadership and oversees the company's day-to-day operations. She is responsible for project planning, business development, client relationships, workforce and subcontractor coordination, and construction execution. Under her leadership, Freedom Commercial Builders is committed to quality, safety, integrity, diversity, and exceptional client service while building its reputation as a premier commercial contractor serving Texas, Nevada, and the greater Southwest.
Ms. Munoz built the foundation of her construction career in commercial cast-in-place concrete construction. She spent fourteen years with Tutor-Saliba/Perini Construction as a Foreman Carpenter, where she managed crews and supervised construction activities on large-scale Class-A commercial concrete structures. Prior to that, she spent four years with Ceco Construction, developing extensive hands-on expertise in structural concrete systems, carpentry, field operations, and commercial construction.
Her career is especially notable because she entered the construction industry in 1978, at a time when women were rarely represented in field construction roles. As one of the early women working as a carpenter in Los Angeles, Ms. Munoz built her career through determination, craftsmanship, discipline, and a willingness to lead in an industry where few women had the opportunity to do so.
Beyond traditional commercial construction, Ms. Munoz has extensive experience managing telecommunications and technology infrastructure projects. She has overseen internet infrastructure installations, equipment management, and technology upgrades for major hospitality properties throughout Las Vegas, including approximately twelve years of project involvement with The Plaza Hotel & Casino and approximately seven years with the Palms Casino Resort, in addition to numerous other hospitality and commercial facilities.
Today, Ms. Munoz is focused on expanding Freedom Commercial Builders into a diversified commercial construction company capable of serving clients across multiple industries. The company's growing capabilities include commercial interiors, tenant improvements, structural construction, grocery and retail environments, hospitality, manufacturing facilities, telecommunications infrastructure, and mission-critical projects throughout Texas, Nevada, and the Southwest.
Her decades of field and executive experience provide Freedom Commercial Builders with a practical understanding of what it takes to successfully execute complex commercial projects. Ms. Munoz combines hands-on construction knowledge with expertise in project management, client service, subcontractor coordination, workforce leadership, cost awareness, and strategic business growth.
Ms. Munoz remains closely involved throughout every phase of a project—from preconstruction planning, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability review through construction execution, quality control, project completion, and closeout. Her collaborative leadership approach enables her to work effectively with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule, budget, and client expectations.
Through her leadership, Freedom Commercial Builders is building upon more than three decades of construction and infrastructure experience to create a company positioned for long-term growth, strong industry partnerships, and exceptional commercial project delivery.

He works closely with executive leadership to ensure each project aligns with the company's financial objectives, operational standards, and commitment to exceptional client service.
Mr. Jones believes successful construction begins well before mobilization. He is actively involved during the preconstruction and bidding process, working with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to evaluate constructability, identify value-engineering opportunities, develop realistic budgets and schedules, and mitigate potential project risks. His involvement in subcontractor selection and contract negotiations helps establish clear expectations and accountability before construction begins.
The foundation of Mr. Jones' construction experience is in cast-in-place concrete and complex structural construction. He has supervised numerous multi-story, post-tensioned and steel-reinforced concrete structures, providing him with extensive knowledge of structural systems, sequencing, field coordination, workforce management, and large-scale commercial construction.
Mr. Jones also brings significant expertise in the mission-critical construction sector, with experience dating back to the late 1990s. His portfolio includes managing construction of the AAFES primary data center and supporting mission-critical projects for clients including FairPoint Communications, Ernst & Young, and Capgemini. More recently, he provided project oversight for the Lowe's Data Center in Westover Hills, further strengthening his expertise in facilities where reliability, security, quality control, scheduling, and operational continuity are essential.
Throughout the construction process, Mr. Jones maintains direct involvement in project performance. He monitors budgets, schedules, quality, procurement, subcontractor performance, and key project milestones, working collaboratively with project teams to identify challenges early and implement practical solutions that protect the client's investment.
His involvement continues through final punch list, project turnover, and closeout, providing clients with consistent executive-level accountability from preconstruction through completion.
As COO, Mr. Jones plays a critical role in building the operational foundation for the continued growth of Freedom Commercial Builders. His combination of field experience, construction management expertise, financial discipline, and collaborative leadership supports the company's commitment to delivering projects safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Mr. Gonzales began his construction career while serving in the United States Navy as a Seabee (Construction Battalion). During his military service, he participated in construction assignments throughout the Pacific, including the construction of schools in Panay, Philippines; pre-engineered wood workshop facilities in Yokosuka, Japan; and medical facilities in Guam. These assignments provided valuable experience in vertical construction, structural systems, logistics, teamwork, and mission-focused project execution in demanding international environments.
Following his honorable military service, Mr. Gonzales transitioned into the private sector as a Construction Manager with Lennar Homes, where he managed new residential construction and coordinated multiple phases of homebuilding operations. This role strengthened his experience in scheduling, trade coordination, quality assurance, inspections, and managing projects through final delivery.
Mr. Gonzales expanded his commercial construction experience as an Assistant Superintendent with Central Builders. In this role, he supervised construction of a nonprofit agricultural education facility, supported the successful completion of two Brookshire Grocery projects, and oversaw the renovation of a commercial retail center. These projects further developed his expertise in occupied and specialized construction environments, subcontractor management, schedule coordination, and commercial project delivery.
He later advanced to Superintendent with Tegrity Contractors, where he directed field construction activities for a municipal fire training facility and a public aquatic center. Managing these diverse projects strengthened his capabilities in municipal construction, safety and code compliance, quality control, subcontractor coordination, schedule management, inspections, and client communication.
